BMT Astoria Line: R160A/B Siemens and Alstom and R68 (N) and (W) Train Action at Broadway

Taken: November 12, 2017

This may have been a Sunday, but the reason why the (W) was running on this day was because (7) trains were not running between Queensboro Plaza and 34th Street-Hudson Yards because of Steinway Tunnel reconstruction endeavors. (Steinway Tunnels carry (7) trains between Queens and Manhattan for those that don’t know what those are)

I could have started my video at Broadway, but I decided to film it this way so you guys could see this (W) train bypass 30th Avenue. Also, at this time, 39th Avenue and Broadway are under construction while 30th and 36th Avenues are open for business.

I was lucky to catch somewhat of a barrage of R160s and the single R68 (W) with the diamond to have a very good video for all of you guys to watch.
