On-Board a Stillwell Avenue bound R160B Siemens (Q) Train from Brighton Beach to Stillwell Avenue

On-Board a Stillwell Avenue bound R160B Siemens (Q) Train from Brighton Beach to Stillwell Avenue

Taken: April 11, 2017

As you can see, there is a clip of an R160B Alstom (Q) Train arriving at Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue on Track 3. That is because it features a small portion of the Siemens train’s announcements and I wanted to feature a small segment on the Brighton line’s platforms.

Since the (B) train does not travel south of Brighton Beach, my curiosity was still present, as I still wanted to explore the rest of the BMT Brighton Line, so I’ve decided to wait for the (Q) train to take me to Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue. I was also glad that the train was a Siemens as well because it is my favorite R160 propulsion, as opposed to the Alstom.

This train was not too crowded fortunately, so I was able to provide some good shots of the stations following Brighton Beach.

Today marks the day that I have finally traveled to the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue station via the four routes in this order (1. BMT Sea Beach Line, 2. BMT West End Line, 3. IND Culver Line, 4. BMT Brighton Line).

My curiosity has finally concluded and I was glad to explore this entire line because the station lighting between Brighton Beach and Ocean Parkway looked pretty cool!
