Amber has her life on track. Yes, she’s a bit of a commitment-phobe — but she has a stable hook-up, loves her stable job, and stable life. But Amber’s routine is thrown into chaos when her estranged, formerly alcoholic father Virgil shows up to crash with her. Virgil is newly zen thanks to a shifty self-help guru, quotes the Alcoholics Anonymous twelve steps like scripture, and is completely taking over Amber’s life and living room… and in the process, forcing her to confront the idea that they may be more alike than she’d care to admit.
